Alan Montgomery

Alan Montgomery is the sole planning Director of the Company and he is a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and a Member of the Chartered Managers Institute. He has considerable experience in town planning and management and has had the pleasure of working in senior management positions with a number of planning authorities, in and around Glasgow, over the past thirty plus years. Latterly he was Head of Development Control with Glasgow City Council.

Throughout this period he served on numerous professional working parties and committees and gained extensive experience in many aspects of town planning.

Suzanne Smith

Suzanne Smith is based in the Hg Glasgow office and provides secretarial and administrative support to Hg Planning, particularly with regard to IT support, document production, the organisation of meetings and telephone appointments.

Suzanne has over twenty years experience in administration, predominantly within the property sector, and worked in Madrid, Paris and Birmingham before living in Glasgow. Suzanne joined Hg in September 2000 and since that time she has provided administrative support to all the Hg group companies.

Suzanne is a qualified Company Secretary and speaks fluent French and Spanish.
